Shankar compliments Rathibala with directorial assignment

Even if Madurai to Theni did not make big business at the box office, the director is receiving good comments from everywhere. Director Rathibala deserves a pat on his back for having used an unknown territory in his Madurai to Theni as far as Tamil industry is concerned. Now the grapevine is that Shankar had given Rathibala a film under his home banner S Pictures. Director Shankar had an open hearted chat with the Rathibala and encouraged his talent. Moreover Shankar liked the outline of a script which the young director told, and immediately asked him to workout this project for his banner. What more the bighearted producer cum director also gave an advance cheque in Rathibala’s hands. In fact that was the script which Radhi intended to do as his first film, a long time wish.
